For those that are in favour of a ban not because of the so-called spying but rather because of it taking up too much time, they should learn from China. China limits online games playtime. They don't ban them. I think this is the right way to go rather than an outright ban.
I favour limiting time on facebook, youtube, instagram, tiktok, twitter etc. Just get out and do some exercise.
