It is very hard to identify the Sinkie look anymore.

So many of the peepur we see in town are actually jhks or tiongs.

Gone are the days when tiongs wore obiang t-shirts, short pants, and MIC sports shoes with socks that ran half way up their calf.  And had a crew cut almost without fail. Rather, they dress like, or better than, us.

You might still be able to spot a northern Chinese based on his looks....his nose is sharper for instance instead of looking like a flattened cockroach that Han Singaporeans have (mostly)

The current way to identify older tiongs is to look out for folks who cycle, act gruffly, display zero civic behaviour, spit anywhere and shout at the top of their voices during a conversation
