The Logitech controller is not the cause of the disaster.

The controller is operated in a room with nice environment.

If the battery of the game controller went flat and no replacement, the sub couldn't be controlled and sinked until imploded, that's aso a likely cause

It's a flaw to use one thng to conclude another.

While there are safety issue with the hull...it is also possible they use a logistics controller.and a well engineered hull.

Even if the logitech controller faill ...the sub is self sufficient to surface as a precaution had the hull been intact.

The stories of logitech controllers and hiring young people without experience etc distract from central engineering issues. 

It is the same tactic as use in legal.imdusyry to discredit witness by releasing related facts to undermine credibility
