Why? because Xi wanna to make himself as a " legend " just like Mao.

Xi know himself in future obviously there will be someone take over his position.

He want to take back Taiwan during his time as Presiden to make himself , make the people in China remember him as a " Legend " when he RIP in future.

Taiwan is a province of China.

No Chinese leader can afford to say otherwise!

Ofc, anyone who can unify china will be regarded as a hero

Xi will surely take back rah, I already mention above, he wanna make himself as a Legend just like Mao .
So people in China will always remember him as another Mao.

maybe when Xi RIP, Beijing Tiananmen Square will hang his Photo beside with Mao.

It's his duty, while China is mighty.
