I lost 4 demerit points for using mobile phone browsing while driving.

I think you'll get back all your points after 12 months, provided you dun get anymore during this period.

no way, this happened almost 3 years ago, today I logged on to check my account, 4 demerit points are still there

You should be jailed unless you were using the map app for directions, that one is arguable.

I was using the map to find direction in Melbourne, the police woman didn’t care what I said, just gave me a ticket to pay the fine plus 4 demerit points. Unlike in Spore the demerit points over there will go away after 4 years, altogether you can only lose max 12 demerit points in 3 years.

How come? I got 18 points. Went for safe driving course to knock off 3 pts. Then 2 years later... zero

Phone not mounted? You hold in your hand n still drive?  Luckily 4 points only ...

Normally, it will disappear away. Reset. The 4 points should be your recent one.

it is not so strict in Spore, you can lose max 24 demerit points and it gets cleared 2 years later.

Australia law and Singapore law different leh.

If you have no points they will treat you differently in SG.

SG traffic junction will be 12 points and $200 or $400. Think it is like that.

I went for that course. Cost $250 and while class 90% is taxi driver.
