My point is Ah Sham, no one forced you to rent out your house. You make your own decision, then try to defense your rental of Ridout property by saying it is a net deficit after taking into account property tax. If you never rent out, there won't be a deficit right?

he needs to tell us at what rent price that his GCB is rented out ?

if it is rented out at $50K - $100k/month, he may lose money in short term of 3 years (because he paid $500K for renovation) 
but he can make money over long term of 9 years.

maybe that is why he is extending the lease of black/white GCB.
