There seems many Putin fans and pro CCP who support his dictatorial regime because of their diehard support of China.

But a cold look at the facts and history reveal the following

1. Prigozhin will never attempt a rebellion unless he has supporters Hugh up in the military. Either rivals of Shougu or just anti Putin elements.

2. Putin went after FSB early in the war. FSB has been Putin's loyal support throughout his rule. It is likely tension is high as the earlier Intel errors is are for current situation. FSB likely to have members who see threat to their lives given war is not going their way.

3. Anti Putin forces are likely to coalesce before Putin purge them.

Consistent with Russian  history when a strong man shows cracks in his power, there is a quiet period during which plots against him are planned. Then one day they spring up suddenly and strong man is gone. Just look at what happened to Stalin. When enough people feel their lives are at threat they will act. Putin has been brutal to his own Russians and likely the rebellion will make him more paranoid . Leading to a vicious cycle.
