Below is the crime for which he was jailed.
He had a private dealing with a shareholder of a company his office was granting license to.
Some people don't understand severity of the (leaked) allegations in Iswaran case:
1. Iswaran was using a VVIP suite for free.
2. Suite was supplied by OBS.
3. OBS owns F1.
4. Iswaran's office grants permits and partially funds the F1.
This case is similar to Donald Tsang case if not more serious.
The judge in Donald Tsang case said "You should have known better ...."
If the allegations are true, there is no room for the minister the claim innocence or ignorance. He should have know better.
