Not necessarily. From what I’ve heard, many short girls tend to be attracted to tall guys but not every girl is the same and people’s preferences vary. Personally, I am quite short, only 158cm (5′2). Guys that are above 180cm make me a bit uncomfortable.
They are attractive for sure but once you stand next to him and he’s like 2 heads above you it’s not the most comfortable feeling. It makes me feel like a child for some reason. I don’t like the feeling of having to look very high up to meet his eyes or not even being able to kiss him unless you have great jumping skills.
Hugs are also not that comfortable when you are barely at his chest level. Yeah, maybe I am exaggerating, but it makes me feel this way. It doesn’t mean that I don’t get attracted to tall guys but it would definitely take some time for me to become comfortable with the huge height difference. Some guys who consider themselves short because they are “only” 174–176cm are actually so comfortable to be around.
I suddenly don’t feel so small, vulnerable and self-conscious. It’s a completely different feeling that I really enjoy. I hope that such guys don’t think that their height makes them less attractive. Their height might actually be absolutely perfect for some girls out there.
