A 17-year-old boy who was left with life threatening injuries after a knife attack was attending a farewell party in the grounds of a £1.5 million house in rural Sussex, neighbours have said.
The teenager was stabbed in the chest during the early hours of Sunday morning near the 10-acre Balmohano Farmhouse, in Warnham.
A 16-year-old boy was later arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in custody. Sussex Police described the victim’s condition as “critical”.
The party was organised by three 18-year-old triplets as a farewell to their childhood home.
