Singapore's POFMA has drawn attention for its alleged selective enforcement. Ostensibly designed to combat fake news, the law seems to be employed predominantly against local entities, while major foreign publications remain largely untouched. 

This disparity raises key questions about the Act's true purpose, and whether its use has been principled or an abuse of power, casting a shadow over the government's pledge of lawful use.
