Worthwhile? Waste of time?

Depends on whether you like wilderness and culture. There are some countries that you may want to avoid at the moment. Better check the situation at those places. There are several routes so you can plan accordingly.

You can also break it down into difference pieces instead of doing the whole route in one trip.

13 days? I guess tour packages tend to be a lot, er, hastier. No time to slow down and get to know the places. But a lot less hassle. So you starting at Xian and ending somewhere in Turkey? Or even further west?

No. Got beef, chicken, mutton, fish, etc.

Their version of "bryani rice" is very nice.

Sure or not?

你的雨伞是指?如果是遮雨工具,我觉得雨衣比较实际。尤其那种连背包也一起盖着的雨衣。

I think he is referring to using umbrella as a shield when doing your business in the open ??

Especially for ladies....

I was actually thinking of condoms as another term for condom is 小雨伞.
草原沙漠, 广阔天地, 大有作为
带把伞一遮, 就地解决, 回归自然  Tongue
Last time went to India, some of them brought sarong along. This one is better than umbrella. One or 2 person help to hold the sarong.
Umbrellas are more practical.....can just do it yourself.
Don't think it's nice to get people to help you when doing a big business. LOL

Umbrella only cover one side, useful only if the women pee facing the wall. Sarong is a round cloth.
