it was chargeing 4dollars 3yrs ago
but recently was $6

now its gone

I remember the shop own by a china man
who came here and started a chain of fishball mee
and reported in the newspaper.he made millions...

but his fish ball mee taste beyond aweful...
he had no clue how an 'orginal' teochew fish ball mee taste like

wat he told his staff to do was to boil the mee
and dunno how
the soup taste slightly like water with some pepper smell

the boil mee was like 50% cook
so the chilli that is being mix cannot 'gell' with the noodle...
You go anchor point to see almost lot of stall are empty
Those greedy bastardy stalls which charge unreasonably high prices have to go.

People will support and patronise if prices are reasonable even though the taste is only mediocre.
Seems hawker center quite empty yesterday... All went to watch ndp issit?
it is a disease like heading towards STARVATION
many many stalls close. when u go after a certain time like noone interest to sell yet
they r suffering.
Vicious cycle. Rent up, food price increase, less business, lose $, close down. Who's not doing the job???
Matter of whether the hawker wants to earn more or less...
Greedy or just contented.

There are still stalls, although rare, charging at $2.50 to $3 for a decent meal.

People go to Anchor Point for hawker food? There's ABC Brickworks and Alexandria Food Village, why go to Anchor Point? Queenstown Shopping Centre (laksa)  is also better I think.
We really do not need so many food stalls

Close 15% of them, does not affect much at all
