I think police should have the driver arrested immediately. Also before he or she is charged, to suspend the person temporarily from driving any form of vehicle or operating any machineries.

What dangerous driving? Attempting murder shd be the words to use. What happened if victim died? A very serious case and heavy sentence if convicted.
But it is very common for cars/ motorcyles
