从他的话来分析，美军绝不可能亲自参加作战，只会卖武器。在美国眼里，台湾和乌克兰是一样的，那同理蔡英文和泽连斯基也是一样的。

Exports to mainland China in 2021 contributed 42.3% of Taiwan's total exports and grew 24.8%. So far in 2022, mainland China's contribution to Taiwan exports has fallen slightly to 40.6%. In contrast, exports to the US increased from 14.7% in 2021 to 15.2% of total Taiwan exports. This could be a seasonal pattern due to the Chinese New Year, but it could also be due to the fact that Taiwan has got more export orders from the US.

When we look at the trade of electronics, we found that the most exported item to mainland China has been electronic parts, which increased 24.4% in 2021 and was even stronger at 34.7% year-on-year in February year-to-date. So we cannot conclude yet that Taiwan's trade partner structure is indeed changing. We will continue to monitor whether Taiwan trade is moving away from mainland China.

Of course I knew that. My posting then was to show to an idiot here that Taiwan is dependent of China in their so called claims of better economy than China. 

And with Taiwan trying to move away their business into USA, we will not see the same kind of trading volume that Taiwan enjoyed with China.

I really doubt China will attack Taiwan because they are busy with their bad economy situations and Taiwan has yet to declare independence.

I am not sure how valid is your source, but based on my conversations with my China Country Manager and a few friends in China. This is currently not in the agenda. 

Taiwan is unlike Ukraine, because the number between the two is far too difference. And I really doubt USA will come to help as they have with Ukraine. Just my opinion.
