Ukrainian military demonstrated American Hydra 70 rockets integrated into a Ukrainian army aviation Mi-24V helicopter. Hydra 70 is an American unguided 70mm rocket. Its transfer as part of military assistance was reported May year 2023.
The video with the new weapons was published on social media.

Ukrainian aviation uses Hydra rockets to conduct distant strikes by low-toss firing. Range shooting in mode reaches 3 to 4 kilometers, depending on the rocket modification and the helicopter’s flight parameters, such as speed and altitude. Ammunition is gradually replacing Soviet (S-8 80mm) unguided rockets, which are due to their active use by Su-25 attack aircraft and Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters.
Mi-24V of the 18th Army Aviation Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with pods for S-8 rockets handed over by the Czech Republic. In addition to unguided rockets, US also supplies Ukraine their APKWS (Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System) guided version. Rocket is integrated with a semi-active laser guidance system and a control unit with sliding wings. The drone guides the missile to the target by illuminating the object with a laser beam until it is hit.
Currently, there are no confirmed cases of Ukrainian aircraft using these rockets. However, Militarnyi reported on Ukrainian Marine brigades is using them from ground launch platforms.

In addition to 70mm unguided rockets, the Armed Forces of Ukraine also has a larger version of them in the form of Zuni 127mm rockets. Ukrainian aircraft have been using these rockets since January 2023 instead of the already scarce Soviet S-13 122mm missiles. Main platforms for their use are Su-25 attack aircraft, although it is possible to install them on helicopters.
Zuni unguided missile is used in Su-25 attack aircraft Ukrainian Air Force, 2023. Frame from the video channel “Mazut SD” Rockets with a 20-25 kilogram warhead, depending on the modification, are able to hit targets spatially dispersed at a distance of up to 8 kilometers. Rockets are fired from LAU-10 launchers with for 4 missiles.

Ukraine officially created special ammunition for UAVs and categorized them separately.
Oleksii Reznikov, Minister of Defense of Ukraine, announced this on his social media page.
“In 16 months, Ministry of Defense has already adopted for operation more than 30 models of UAVs of various types – reconnaissance, strike, kamikaze drones, and loitering munitions. Ammunition for UAVs was officially set up as a separate category,” Reznikov said.

Ukraine better take revenge and ask their tank to 1 tank take out 8 Russian vehicles. This feat has been accomplished by Russian and the tank crew get high recommendation. Losing 8 vehicles (most likely western provided) to 1 tank is a humiliation isn't it? Furthermore it prove western weaponry are not that superior either it still kena whack. But one thing I note is some US vehicles can withstand mine blast that is good save Ukrainian soldier lives but the vehicle get disabled. Once they go out is target for drones and arty fire.
