Actually why does  Games developer even bother to get user to pay for upgrade/weapons?

If am a game/apps developer I just made sure my games/apps is download FREE on enough ppl hp. And one fine day I just takeover the phone, hack their bank account.

The taking over has to be simultaneously on all phone at the same time, automated as much as possible.

assume each person has $100 in his account, i just need to design a attractive enough for 10,000 ppl to download FREE enough.
