Why must let the power to choose be with PEC, why can’t let the people decide for themselves which candidate is most suitable for SG president?

AWARE can by all means call out TKL if AWARE is not satisfied with TKL. But please don’t bestow more power to the PEC, let the power to choose be with the people.

Imagine if PEC filter out TKL as a candidate for the very reason raised by AWARE, will you feel good as a voting SG citizen?

Actually the way HC is "scolding" AWARE is very fake. HC is not saying aware is wrong in saying TKL is cheekopek
In fact HC says TLK is a cheekopek
She just admonish aware for only bringing up to PEC AFTER TKL had already been qualified.
HC is just adding OIL to FIRE lah.
Anyway if People want another OTC, TKL is the only ideal president they have. Both Thambi and Cock Song will just listen to whatever pinky says.
TKL is also an actuary btw, means he is very good at numbers . Like OTC he may be able to find out the truth about the reserves and protect it
