Straits Times is really 3rd class journalism. Scam Shield can be fake, OTP can be by- passed and setting transaction limit can also be reset by scammers.

I didn't find the Scam Shield useful...I uninstalled it .
More like an action by the authorities that they are doing something to avert scams.

how otp can be bypass?

I remember a scammer call up the guy and say to tell him the otp becos he sent to the wrong number..and the guy gave the scammer the otpp number
and was 'robbed'

Do what I do. Respond to all unsolicited offers to make money, buy cheap stuff with your choicest vulgarities and include solicitations for bbbj.

This will usually stop them in the tracks, at most they respond with vulgarities but that’s it Big Grin
