SINGAPORE – A 36-year-old man will be charged in court on Wednesday after he allegedly shot a flock of birds with a catapult in Jurong West

Using a catapult, the man had allegedly shot metal and clay pellets at a flock of birds, with one of the pellets damaging the kitchen window of a Housing Board flat in Jurong West Street 61 with his projectiles.

The govt contractors are culling crows which are considered a nuisance.  They wouldn't be doing so unless there were complaints made by residents of MacPherson.

kill snakes should do privately next time. Last time got neighbour report mata saw large snake but was told not mata business unless iz found in public area or something to dat effect. Lidat how to deal with dangerous animals ?

I think wild animals should be NEA ? Last time got wild boar attack I think is called in NEA ?

I wonder who decide the amount of fine. Why is it the life of a fish cost 3000 while life of a bird cost 10,000 almost 3 times more! Fish can breathe underwater birds cannot leh. Birds can fly fish cannot leh. So in a way they are powerful in their own rights. So in theory the amount of fine for both should be same?

Worst python cheapest only 1000 ???? That person who decide the amount of fine brain haywire liao.

Above post signboard say feed bird or kong 10,000. So now this case is shoot the bird dead or kong maybe 100,000? And that is for 10 birds. Imagine the guy shoot dead 100 birds wa lao he bankrupt liao no monies pay fine go sit jail eat black bean rice.
