This is a waste money to get ahead race.
Japan used tk burn millions to be no.1 but it did not help their tech sector at all.
This is equivalent to building tallest building jn the world so long as you have $$ to burn you can do it.

It is because Japan does not have a strong domestic market. Unlike China, it has a huge domestic market. If all the Chinese pee in Sg, Sg will be flooded.
