But if it's the actual wedding, can save money, simple and happy for everybody why not?

Tea ceremony go outside do and let everyone see wow very rich leh. Usually it is inside the house.

If you hv many guests and colleagues to invite and house too small, it's not a bad idea. And just pay a fee they'll do all the preparations, food and drinks

Becuz gal family want everyone to know they feed their daughter so many years until so big marry off must let everyone know mah. Also if later divorce the stigma is more on gal than on guy. Also for Chinese daughter is marry off and enter into guy side family it is like send away so must do big big make it an important occasion else next time no chance liao maybe until daughter either die hubby or divorce marry the second time again ?
