Seems the Gov is watching with GREAT concern on the Global reaction and protests against the invasion of Gaza and the resulting widespread destruction and death...Even Western democracies of UK and French gov are worried and order banning protests...

Singapore must lend its support to the Palestinian people who are caught between great powers and the dangerous means used in the Israel-Hamas conflict, said MP Saktiandi Supaat. “They do not deserve to live in tragedy, generation after generation,” he said in Parliament on Monday (Nov 6). He urged the Government to step up efforts to do more on the diplomatic front to help realise the political solutions amid the ongoing conflict. Singapore should also provide aid through the right channels, he said. He hopes the authorities can help to provide guidance on this. He also called for all efforts to ensure that all innocent civilians, especially the children, are protected. Mr Saktiandi also flagged the ramifications of a protracted conflict in Gaza. He said if the conflict spreads or worsens, there will be economic and financial ramifications globally. It is already adding another layer of complexity to the geopolitics of the world and existing economic headwinds, he said. “Singapore will not be immune,” he said. Mr Saktiandi noted that economists have sounded concerns that an escalation in the fighting between Israel and Hamas could sent the world into recession. It is in Singapore’s interest to ensure that this conflict is not prolonged, he said. “I am confident that Singaporeans will continue to be resilient and harmonious in the face of these issues and band together to help those in need as we weather any global geopolitical and economic storms ahead.”

To be fair it should be symbols for both Israel and Palestine. I know Israel is the two inverted triangles blue color overlap each other with white background.
