The Russian government announced on the 9th that it would terminate the nuclear weapons reduction agreement with Japan, which includes dismantling Russia's decommissioned nuclear submarines. Although Russia did not explain the reason, Japanese media speculated that it may be due to the deterioration of relations between the two countries caused by the Russia-Ukraine war.
