The repair bill for the broken F-35A is estimated to be over 100 billion won ($76 million) ― close to its original price tag of $100 million. The estimation came after talks between the Republic of Korea Air Force and Lockheed Martin, the U.S. defense giant which developed the stealth fighter.

many countries will be keen to buy over the beyond economical reapair unit just to see the technology.
some countries will be able to repair at fraction of cost by just replacing the spoilt parts.

1.  New ones cost how much?
2.  Repair cost, how much

Pick the one which costs less.

This also must learn from South Korea.   Rotfl
