The reason that this career advisor cannot find a job has less to do with ageism from employers, but the fact that she has an extremely poor command of the English language. She is unable to express herself clearly in the video, and if she was speaking to an interviewer like me, I would not be in the least bit impressed.

People would not want to listen to a career advisor, who is not where she wants to be in her career, at her current stage of life.

I admire her tenacity to return to the job market. All I am saying is that the difficulty she faces securing a job may not be down to ageism alone, but her inability to articulate herself.

With her bad english, she's not afraid to speak on tv and expressed her desire to work. Much betterer than who choose to tangping bailan right? And hope garment will take care of them

The fact that she is not simply embracing the poor situation she find herself in, but attempting to secure work instead of crying to the Govt for aid, is admirable. On top of that, she should find ways to brush up on her command of English if she hopes to find work as a career advisor again.
