Moderate Muslims still refer to the terrorists from Hamas as "freedom fighters". They are animals who must be hunted down and slaughtered.

Egypt and Syria do not welcome Hamas and the Palestinian people because they will create civil unrest and even try to topple the govts in their host countries. The Palestinians have done this before. In fact, they were responsible for the civil war in Lebanon.
