An accident involving a school bus and a car along Bukit Timah Road - Bigiron - 06-03-2024
An accident involving a school bus and a car along Bukit Timah Road has left the car in flames near a fallen lamp-post and the bus missing its front wheels.

It is strange to read that the driver and 3 of his car passengers were arrested for driving offences. It is unbelievable that 4 reckless drivers were found together in 1 car. Did the accident occur because all 4 of them tried to take the steering wheel while they were drunk? LOL!

Because the 3 passengers are aware of the driving offences yet they did not stop the driver.

"A 26-year-old male car driver was arrested for failing to provide (a) breath specimen .......... Another man in the car, aged 22, was arrested for traffic-related offences along with the other two passengers". The report seems vague whether these "traffic-related offences" have to do with this particular accident, or were committed by them earlier in separate cases.

I think drunk driving and the rest also arrested together. Maybe got drugs also..

UPDATE: 2 schoolchildren were taken to NUH after the accident. The driver of the car and its 3 passengers have been arrested.

They shd hv stopped the drunk driver from driving. But if they're aso drunk, they could be charged together for public intoxication
