When will the US Govt wake up and realise that civilians (especially criminals) must not be allowed to possess firearms?

Actually they are making it easier to possess firearms and bring them around in some states.

Allowing civilians to own automatic rifles is sheer lunacy. More Americans are killed by fellow citizens than by Islamic terrorists in the U.S.

guns are to protect citizens from an oppressive Govt..............that's the main reason for gun ownership
