In other developed countries, foreigners are brought in to perform jobs that locals shun or aren't qualified to do. Our Govt is bringing in foreigners to replace local PMEs, and forcing more citizens into underemployment and unemployment.

singapore govt is not accountable to the unemployed.
because PAP does not need to provide uemploment benefit or jobs if the unemployed cannot find jobs.
PAP provide nothing to the unemployed.
thus bringing more foreigners has no impact on PAP.

eventually as more PMETs vote against PAP, PAP will have to provide jobs or benefit to the unemployed PMETs.

currently there is no pressure for PAP to provide jobs or benefit to the unemployed PMETs.

currently, PAP can keep importing foreigners to take up local jobs even if more PMETs become unemployed.

the new system must be that PAP will have to reduce unemployed PMETs if PAP wants to reduce the level of unemployment benefits.
this is the accountability to the unemployed PMETs.
