these brought more hardships n miseries to the people so much so the rebel

Yes! The network of Hamas tunnels will be flooded.
In the Philippines the last tsunami had put an end to the widespread Muslim insurgent activities. Suddenly there was a dull in the terrorists activities. I believe they cldhave been wiped out by the tsunami.

Remember the Great Flood in the Bible? Men and animals were wiped from the face of the earth. Only Noah, his family and the animals with him in the ark. The waters flooded the earth for 150 days. It was the fresh start that the world needed.

If it is natural disasters caused by events beyond Man's control, what is the use of rebelling against the government? Taiwan just had a bad earthquake. Blame the government? The volcano in Indonesia erupted. Blame the government?
But I would say a natural disaster or even a pandemic can make peepur stop fighting and running for shelter and safety. The Hong Kong street protests ended when the Wuhan virus became an epidemic and it was not even a pandemic yet. An earthquake would split the earth's surface and expose the tunnels where the HAMAS terrorists are hiding.

Yet, it wasn't long before Man started committing sins again, to this day. We can be reborn a zillion times to come back to Earth and have a brand new start as an innocent baby, yet we would be full of sins by the time we die. We would never succeed in becoming perfect and sinless on our own.
Our hope is in Christ.

We live in an imperfect world so perfection is only in Christ when we meet Him face-to-face.
