Order kiosk so troublesome..order one kari pok also must press the panel..
Macik at hawker centre...I only need to point at the kari pok and she delivers quickly...so convenient!

I think they want to solve the manpower shortage. Oftentimes there was only one lau funtie who had to take order and then do the cashiering.
Now you key the order and be the cashier keying your items on the POS machine and doing the settlement. The staff no longer has to do cashiering, she just packs your order and her job's done.

You could look at it as being bought with salaries that would have been paid to that someone they had been trying for months to hire.
Suppose to have 2 staff one doing order taking and packing, and the other cashiering.
But often there was only one.
And young peepur don't want to do this job, they'd rather do Grab food delivery. So they have to employ seniors who you can expect would have polyclinic appointments.
When the staff calls up and says tomorrow I need to see lokoon, the staff frying curry pok has to go out and do sales and cashiering. And she's all alone. Very gek sim, resigns and now the area manager has to tong.
Staff turnover is very high.
Whoever says it's hard to find a job should go look for Old Chang Kee. You'd be hired right away if you can stand on your feet for 8 hours.

next time go public toilet also got panel. $0.10 for urine, $0.20 for a dump, $0.10 toilet roll if needed..

Install a CCTV inside and see what is discharge. Images are sent to a computer which will compute the amount payable
Can use Skills Future Credit to attend the course, how to operate the computer and see the images. When the technology is ready, I will apply for a job and check the female toilet users.
