The powers that be often make use of such survey results to justify bringing in "hungrier" foreigners to replace S'poreans for white collar jobs.

If the survey results are accurate, then we know why 95% of jobs created in 2023 and 89% in 2022 went to foreigners. PRs and S'poreans have to fight for the few remaining jobs that FTs reject. This is the reverse of what is happening in almost every other developed nation in the world.
