Maybe want to test water to raise the $50 limit, after with the crazy price hike and huge rising cost of living in recent years, some felt the $50 limit ish obsoleted and need to raise further to catch up with the current inflation.
Like some branded moon cake package used to cost less the $50 few years ago nao can be selling at $50+ $60+, may cause some to stop sending them as gifts since not just government, but many private business also still adopt this limit of $50 for staffs to accept gifts. If choose cheaper brand also worry may ganna hiam by some as cheapskate.
