The police had been advising the public to be vigilant about online scams.

And here is a police officer who cheated a hawker using the QR code to pay but switched accounts after scanning

$500 is too low a fine considering that he is a police officer.

Exactly!! Law enforcer broke the law. Shouldn’t it be heavier? Just what message are they sending out? Discounted rate?
