Whenever I flew. I had always had my seat belt on all the time, except when going to the toilet! When I say seat belt on, I mean properly buckled and tightened to a comfortable level! Not loosely buckled!

SIA should help search doctors for the teacher.
Toilet outside should incorporate safety belt as well if it helps.
