Govt loves squeezing the people - wendychan - 12-06-2024

Walked from B2 Plaza Singapura mrt area  to bus stop at road level..Tap my mrt card. Then exited opposite coz it was faster to get to bus stop than walk one round  etc. About 10.55 am (Wednesday). Was NOT crowded at all.
I was charged $1.09. From 1st tap to 2nd tap was less than 30 secconds.

All I can say is

THIS FOOKING GOVT...

ever ready to squeeze anything they can from the people
Whilst in thier ivory towers

already forewarned with posters in mrt station says tapping in n out fr the same station will incur charges
but anyway $1.09 is way too much normal shld br 60 to 80 or 90cts why 1.09 ?

have seen the posters, but dont agree with whath they do. plus sometimes if i get off the bus and then do the same thing but in oppsosite direction, im not charged.
im not going to dispute the charge or ask for a refund, but its STILL
govt squeezing us and such an easy way for them to get $$$ from us

yr contriibution of 1.09 is part of theat!!
