it is very well known at least for 50 years that junior doctors will face low pay and long hours in public hospitals when serving bond.
yet these doctors continue to sign the contract to study the course and serve the bond.

why they complain about the things known to them when they signed the contract ?

It is like you sign a contract to borrow money and then later complain about the high interest rate for repayment ?

I think they are unhappy that other course graduates are earning more than them. Even engineering graduates ( their A level results were Bs and Cs) also earn more than 5k now

engineering graduates do not have $500K invested in them for the course.
a doctor need $500K investment in course from the govt.

they already knew about low pay as junior doctor before they signed the contract.
after they signed the contract, any vocation can have higher pay then them in the future.

Same problem in a lot of countries. Demand > Supply. But if the some of the supply disappeared into private, some of the demand will die off and the issue is kind of "resolved".

All of the medical undergrads know about the low pay and long hours in public hospitals when serving the bond. Most of them just didn't know that the actual conditions would be so inhumane. The toll on their mental health can be dilapidating.

The problem is the quota for each faculty

Some with 3As and 1B also cannot get into medicine
