I have watched videos of couriers throwing parcels from the main gate of landed homes to the front door which is definitely not a standard or an approved practice. It will probably damage the package and reflects poorly on the delivery company. Even though delivery drivers usually have tight schedules to meet, this is no excuse for them to mishandle packages which may contain fragile parts.
