These astronauts were sent there by Russian spaceship, now that NASA stops using Russian spaceship and started using Boeing Starliner, there is no way they can return before the issues are resolved. Maybe Elon Musk can bring them back with very high price.

NASA has no choice but to do a desperate PR.

The spacecraft CST-100 Starliner made by Boeing has a bad history of technical problems since contract by NASA in to provide low-Earth orbit crew-delivery service to the ISS .. Many are concern with allowing the 2 astronauts to continue the 1st test flight return given some much problems has pop up since the Boeing spaccraft docked with he ISS on 6 June...over 1.5 months ago. Some are asking if got so much problem since the start. why still launch it with 2 humans onboard ? Big Grin
