China is doing what many countries ought to be doing. Leaving aside the matter of stocks, China is heading in the right direction. Look at the society now. Why should the rich be earning so much more than the common man. In the words of Tommy Koh, running a bus company is not rocket science, but its CEO can make so much more than its staff. I'm all for the competent people having a better life, but this is going far too extreme.
Common prosperity is the way to go.

But to disruption the system to engjneer the outcome you want may have uncontrollable consequences.

A few facts just facts:
1.70% of China household wealth is in property.
2. Property is slowing.. it will hit consumption.
3. Western countries are slowing cutting China out of its markets and access to investment funds.e.g US delisting of China stocks.
4. China companies bond yield is rising making it expensive to borrow US$ and roll debt.
5. China demographics point to rapidly ageing population. This is likely longer term problems.
All these factors pave the way for West to halt China rise.
