The European Union has reduced the maximum amount of liquids that can be carried in cabin baggage during flights from 125 ml to 100 ml. According to the regulation, liquids that must be in a transparent plastic bag or bottle will not need to be removed from the bags.
According to the regulation that went into effect the day before, spreadable cheeses were also included in liquid and gel products. However, medicines and liquid baby food will be exempt from this restriction. The new rules will apply to all airports in the European Union .
