Remember when that clueless then Senior Minister of State for the Environment and Water Resources, Amy Khor said in Parliament that the rental price of hawker stalls does not directly affect food prices? I am absolutely gobsmacked hearing that overpaid, overrated and overhyped Amy Khor claim that hawkers’ rentals have no direct relation to the food prices they charge. Does she possess even an ounce of common sense?

Diners like us get served such low quality meals at hawker centres these days. Only noodles in my bak chor mee from Ghim Moh Hawker Centre, without much or any ingredients.

It costs $4 from Ghim Moh Hawker Centre. A few tiny shreds of fatty minced pork and lettuce with the noodles for this dry bak chor mee.

That hawker doesn't dare do this when I eat there. She probably does this to customers who pack her BCM or fish ball noodles and discover the scam after they reach the office or home.

Hinting to us not to patronize Hawker Centers

Because we cannot afford, lah

Orchard, City Hall, Changi Business Park, Mumbai Gardens . . .

any many parts of SG are all built for FTs

Since FTs are rich, let them be regular customers there

For me- I will eat there only a few times a year as a luxury.

My logic is- PAP don't even fully support Hawker Center

So, why should I support Hawker Centers?

I also cook my Chow Min that costs around $3 (2 servings)

because of fried wanton 55 cents
