Healthcare related bankruptcy among Americans...majority of the cases involved people who are insured rather than uninsured resulting from insurance companies tactics to deny payment of large claims using "fine prints" and procedural lapses. To study was done by Ex Harvard professor Elizabeth Warren who is now a congress woman.
Such tactics were depicted in the movie Rain Maker starring Tom Cruise.

If you read the comments on YouTube under the various videos related to this news, you will find that a lot of people are not happy with UnitedHealthcare. Not sure if they try to get payouts but UnitedHealthcare rejected them or they just venting because UnitedHealthcare made US&2.3B last year.

Yeah, it's a bad habit of many forumers here. They don't check if the news have been posted and thus there are times where there are a lot of threads for the same news which crowds out other news. I tried to avoid that by doing a search but sometimes the threadstarters have a very different thread title for the same news so I sometimes duplicate the same news in another thread (but that is rare).

This is a common underlying issue with all insurance companies. Some people who bought Eldershield met the 4 criteria ( unable to eat, bathe etc) but were not disbursed any claims due to ridiculous assessment. At the end, Eldershield faded out into another failed scheme.

After I revealed Sgbuffet is the forum owner and hijacked my earlier thread and thread title, he now merged it with Levin’s thread to deflect suspicion.
Very dishonest. There are so many other threads on the same matter. Why don’t merge them too?
