SingPost to purchase second U.S. e-commerce logistics provider..
The national mail carrier of Singapore is making good on its promise to become a global logistics provider, agreeing to acquire a 96.3 percent share in TradeGlobal Holdings, Inc. for $168.6 million, its second such deal this month.

The managers were found to have performed or approved manual "delivery failure" status codes for parcels, even though no delivery attempt had been made and without supporting documents.
They have been sacked and a police report made against them, it added.

No delivery attempt they allow the staff to key in "delivery fail". Likely they are suppose to attempt delivery by a certain timeline when cannot meet they cheated by keying in "delivery failure ". This was approved by CEO and CFO.
Looks serious.

The think the 3 exencutive dont go jail considered good outcome.
By right they cheated on the contract to make more profits to get more bonus. All these should be returned.
SingPost been plagued with bad CEOs for so long.
The previous Ang Moh CEO almost sent the company to bankruptcy with thoughtless.acquisitions.
The govt really has to step in and put the house in order

If no delivery is it very serious ? Many times postal services mails no delivery or late or delivered the next day eg Saturday....

CEO and CFO authorise staff to put false status for parcel without delivery attempt to say they try to deliver but customer not in.
This is done to cheat their main customer...lkkely to involve millions. Tgat js why now is police case.
Cheating is serious offence.
