GRC giving voters an opportunity to express their feelings with the followings:
- stressful high cost of living,
- the increase in GST from 7% to 9%
- suffering under higher transport fares
- being retrenched, jobless and unemployed
- helplessness living below poverty level
- shortage of A&E beds for patients
- more Singaporeans died of cancer
- unaffordable HDB prices
