My view is its a mistake to buy now
Its called a dead cat bounce.
I have gone through the economic and valuation data...dumb money is buying this rebound.
If you have US stocks should use this eebound to exit.

Handbag Loo has tried unsuccessfully so far eg trying to push sg property prices down (he failed so he went to JB) and promoting JB and bad mouth Singapore non stop (probably didn’t get some perks he lobbied for in sg).
Every other day say JB cheap eats cheap property while SG unsafe and dangerous with very high cost of living.

There is rotation into Berkshire as investors run to value plays.
Buffett beingvin 30% cash also hedge aginst any downside
It shows that investors are willing to invest but prefer to derisk from stocks with expensive valuations.
Look at Berkshire and S&P500 moving in opposite directions. This is very rare. But shows that incestors are moving out of crowded trades in a small numbers of stocks over represented jn s&p500

.Above is still based on assimption that there is no recession.
If recession comes all US stocks will go down.

I dont see any opportunity to buy cheap in US.
US stocks have risen alot over last 5yrs due to buden money printing and belief of US exceptionalism.
US stocks only started to fall.
Because US stocks have performed so well in last 15yrs ....investors will keep coming back to buy...slowing the fall and creating temporary rallies.
