Trump is full of rubbish and lies ...his supoorters are the same.
95% of singapore imports come in tariff free. Singapore is married to free trade and have a free trade agreement with US.

Sounds hilarious to me. MP CCS said we signed dozens of FTAs and even allow free flow of CECA into Singapore. I do not see tariffs in place.

Cigarette liqueur tariffs ... Coe tariffs ... Absd tariffs ... Gst tariffs ... got difference lah positioning these tariffs and describing them as non tariff ...

Singapore became rich helping wash wash lah. Then earn back via stamp duty, property tax, gst, coe, erp, worker levy etc. If not how to fund the ever expanding MPs, mayors and ministers cohort?
Which MNC really came here to do biz? Most came to enjoy tax holidays and accounting differences so they save on taxes that should have been paid in USA etc.
