[KUALA LUMPUR] In a bid to secure a lower tariff rate, Malaysia has committed to trade agreements with the US, with deals cumulatively valued at over US$240 billion for :
- To purchase more Boeing aircraft
- Buy American coal export
- Use American telecommunications equipment.
- Import more American LNG
- Remove tax on US Internet coy like Google and Meta services
- Remove nearly all import duties for 98% of American imports

Malaysia has secured a "Win-Win" tariff deal with the U.S with 19% tariff on M'sian exports with 0% duty for US imports - Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz.
