A 63-year-old Singaporean man died of COVID-19 on Thursday (5 August), the Ministry of Health (MOH) said on Friday.
The man, the 41st COVID-19 fatality in Singapore, had developed a fever and cough on Tuesday and was conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital on Thursday after collapsing at home, MOH said in its daily COVID-19 report. He was confirmed to have COVID-19 infection after his death.
“He had not been vaccinated against COVID-19, and had a history of heart disease, stroke, diabetes mellitus, hypertension and hyperlipidaemia,” the MOH said.
